EnviroWalk is an annual fundraising event of the Miss World
Cayman Islands pageant and Girl Power Ltd - a not-for-profit organization that
trains and mentors young women between the ages of 15 and 27, free of charge.
Each year, part proceeds from the walk/run are donated to a local group working
to help bring awareness of – and protection for – the environment. Over the
past four years, EnviroWalk has donated to Plastic Free Cayman, Protect Our
Future, Mangrove Rangers and CCMI.Envirowalk Cayman started in 2019 with a goal of inspiring
the public to make environmental choices and providing “tips” along the route
that encourages sustainability. Each year, participants at Envirowalk select
their favourite local environmental organization and the winning organization
is given a donation from the proceeds of Envirowalk. In 2019 we donated to
Plastic Free Cayman, in 2021 to protect our Future and in 2022 to Mangrove
Rangers. We look forward to awarding another local organization doing
environmental work for Cayman, at this year’s event.For more information on what we do, to volunteer or to make
